3 things...

1. Love the smell of Orange Blossoms! Can't get enough of it. It's like a freakin' drug to me!

2. Love my new Shark Steam Mop! I think it gives me a false sense of security that everything is completely germ free. 3. Puppies are a lot of work!

Babies

Today I love... that there are so many babies and small children in my ward. I usually sit in the back and have a good view of all of the babies looking over their mother's shoulder. Even though it makes me a little sad sometimes, I still love to smile at them and watch them. I love the innocence of children.

(My niece Olivia)

3 Nephi 11:38-"And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and be baptized in my name and become as a little child, or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God."

Moroni 8: 17-" And I am filled with charity, which is everlasting love; wherefore, all children are alike unto me; wherefore, I love little children with a perfect love; and they are all alike and partakers of salvation."

Today I love.....

I'm stealing an idea from my friend Paula. Since I don't really feel like i have much to blog about in regards to my daily doings, I'm going to blog about things that I love about that day or week. If nothing else, I figure it will help me to be more grateful and remind me that there are things to love about each day. Thanks for the idea Paula and hope you don't' mind my 'mooching' it off of you!
TODAY I LOVE...
Winters in Arizona, because it means that I can go walking (outside) at 8 in the morning without dying of heat exhaustion or drowning in my own sweat! It was a beautiful, cloudy, overcast morning! I love that!
I live just a few streets south of a retirement community.
You might not think that's ideal, BUT it's a quiet neighborhood (perfect for walking in). AND...there are NO speed bumps in this little community! I LOVE THAT!

I happened to glance into a window as i walked past a house and noticed that they were watching 'Little House on the Prairie'. I LOVE 'Little House on the Prairie' and that people still watch it!
I own the first 5 Seasons. My roommate has given them to me over the years for birthdays or holidays. I grew up on Little House on the Prairie, and decided a long time ago that when i grew up and had children, I would 'tape' all of episodes and raise my children on Little House. It's such a great show that teaches great values. So, imagine my delight when I saw the 1st Little House 'video' for sale years ago. Glad I waited to start my collection until it came out on DVD.

I love that I heard thunder on my walk and that it sprinkled a couple of drops on my eyelid...but didn't downpour on me.

What a great way to start the day!

Magnificant Monday!

What a great day! First of all, I didn't have to work.

My oven CLEANED itself! Gotta love self-cleaning ovens!

Then I went to a cookie exchange at my sisters house with my sisters, sister in-law and mom. Here is a peek at some of the yummy cookies we exchanged.

Tis the Season for baking and eating!

Then...I found these cute shoes (picture doesn't do them justice) for just $23! I returned some that I had previously bought for $60...which I really couldn't afford.

The evening started with this BEAUTIFUL sunset!

Can you see the chickens in the chicken coop? All hunkered down for the evening.

I made salmon, which my roommate didn't like. That's o.k. She doesn't like fish but she agreed to try it. I didn't like Salmon for years. I still don't like Seafood. Just tuna and Salmon these days.

Tis the Season to get a Christmas Tree too! Woo hoo! We need more lights so we can decorate it!

Aaaahh! What nice day. Back to the grind tomorrow. Love this Season though!

Prophecy being fufilled...

"Make no mistake about it, brothers and sisters, in the months and years head, events are likely to require each member to decide whether or not he will follow the First Presidency. Members will find it more difficult to halt longer between two opinions. President Marion G. Romney said, many years ago, that he had 'never hesitated to follow the counsel of the Authorities of the Church even though it crossed my social, professional or political life.' "This is hard doctrine, but it is particularly vital doctrine in a society which is becoming more wicked. In short, brothers and sisters, not being ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ includes not being ashamed of the prophets of Jesus Christ...Your discipleship may see the time when such religious convictions are discounted...This new irreligious imperialism seeks to disallow certain opinions simply because those opinions grow out of religious convictions. "Resistance to abortion will be seen as primitive. Concern over the institution of the family will be viewed as untrendy and unenlightened...Before the ultimate victory of the forces of righteousness, some skirmishes will be lost. Even in these, however, let us leave a record so that the choices are clear, letting others do as they will in the face of prophetic counsel. There will also be times, happily, when a minor defeat seems probably, but others will step forward, having been rallied to rightness by what we do. We will know the joy, on occasion, of having awakened a slumbering majority of the decent people of all races and creeds which was, till then, unconscious of itself. Jesus said that when the fig trees put forth their leaves,'summer is nigh.' thus warned that summer is upon us, let us not then complain of the heat.'
